Altoura’s Cleanroom Movement Training Module is an immersive, hands-on simulation that teaches learners how to move correctly in aseptic and cleanroom environments to protect product sterility and maintain contamination control.

In cleanrooms, laminar (unidirectional) airflow continuously pushes air and potential contaminants toward exit vents. When operators move unpredictably or too quickly, they can create turbulence, disrupting steady airflow and increasing the risk of contamination. In this module, learners practice controlled, deliberate movement patterns that preserve airflow integrity and reduce particulate spread.

Through interactive scenarios, trainees apply best practices such as moving at a controlled pace, planning actions to limit unnecessary motion, keeping arms close to the body, and lifting or placing materials gently—all while learning to move with airflow, not against it. The simulation also reinforces cleanroom etiquette, including minimizing talking near critical areas, avoiding unnecessary contact with surfaces, and ensuring only essential personnel enter controlled zones.
