A 30-minute webinar. Live Q&A after the session.

Got questions about your D365 Guides or Remote Assist program? Send them our way, and we'll pick them to answer after the webinar.

  1. The Official EOL Timeline

Exactly what Microsoft has published: EOL dates, licensing cutoff, the HoloLens hardware timeline, and what "end of support" means in practice for regulated environments.

  2. What's Actually at Risk

D365 Guides and Remote Assist are different migration problems. We cover what you stand to lose from each, and what the separate hardware EOL date means for your HoloLens fleet.

  3. Your Practical Ways Forward

Teams Spatial Annotation, custom build, purpose-built platforms, or delay. Honest pros and cons for each, including where Teams covers the Remote Assist scenario and where it doesn't.

  4. LIVE DEMO

    Migration in Real Time

Watch a real D365 Guides Dataverse export migrate into Altoura on screen: step content, 3D anchors, linked media, multi-device output.

  5. Beyond Migration

Capabilities the retiring platform didn't offer: device flexibility across Ray-Ban, Mentra Live, RealWear, and HMS SiNGRAY G2, iPad plus AI-powered authoring.

  6. Role-Specific Transition Roadmap

Role-specific action plans for Maintenance, Plant Engineers, IT, Procurement, and Site Directors.

The people who built this ecosystem, now helping you move on from it

Two people with direct, firsthand experience of these products at enterprise scale.

Lawrence Crumpton
Former Microsoft Mixed Reality Lead, Asia Pacific  |  Now at Altoura

Nearly a decade at Microsoft leading the Mixed Reality business across Australia, New Zealand, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia. Worked with BHP on remote support for operations in the Pilbara, and with Qantas on structured pilot training in D365 Guides. He joined Altoura because these enterprises needed a roadmap, and he wanted to be the person building it.

Bharat Ahluwalia
Chief Technology Officer  |  Altoura

Built Altoura's migration engine from the ground up. In this webinar, Bharat runs two live demonstrations on screen: a real D365 Guides Dataverse export migrating into Altoura, and Altoura's four capabilities beyond what Guides and Remote Assist provided. No slides. No demo files. Real exports, real platform.

Questions we hear from every enterprise

Yes. Every registrant can submit a question at sign-up, regardless of whether they attend the scheduled session. Questions are reviewed before the broadcast, and the top 3–4 are answered on camera by Lawrence and Bharat. All registrants receive a recording link after the session.
Partially. Teams covers the basic see-what-I-see remote collaboration scenarios that Remote Assist provided. It does not cover D365 Guides structured work instructions, does not import your existing content library, and does not replicate the Dynamics 365 Field Service integration. The webinar covers this distinction in detail, including which of your use cases Teams can serve and which require a purpose-built platform.
Yes, the HoloLens 2 device and Windows Holographic OS have a separate support timeline from D365 Guides and Remote Assist. Hardware support continues until October 2027. The webinar covers this in detail, including what it means for your device strategy and migration timeline.
Across D365 Guides exports migrated to date, step content typically migrates above 95% clean through Altoura's automated migration engine. The webinar includes a live demonstration of this process. The migration assessment offer lets you test your actual content before committing to anything.
